Same Old, Same Old
Dear Friend,
Please check out today's devotional written by my friend DEA, in San Diego! I love when God confirms a thing, immediately!
GiG, it is the first week of 2021. And I don’t know about you, but God has been lighting up the switchboard of my mind with so much more of Him. That’s what happens when you get rest, rest, and REST. His central theme for me has been, remain silent where others may be talking, put what is central in the forefront.
For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland. Isaiah 43:19 NLT
Our Mighty God is not content with the same old, same old. He is helping me see what’s worked in 2020, what’s been sufficient, or what seems good enough for the future requires putting what is central in the forefront. My relationship with Jesus is central and essential. He is Yahweh, Creator God. He works in unlikely ways. He makes miracles happen.
Today’s scripture shows us He is always doing a new thing. I am believing God wants to do something new, something unlikely, something miraculous in my life and in your life too in 2021! And I want to shout it from the rooftop that God is faithful in keeping His promises. If He said He will do it, then He will.
For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven. Ecclesiastes 3:1 NLT
In my experiences, God rarely shows up on my time, or should I say, when I think it is time; but He ALWAYS takes care of His children. And as He does, we learn that His timing is invariably perfect.
May we be encouraged to remember in 2021, no matter what winds blow our way, that we are SEEN, we are CHOSEN, and we are SENT. Do not let anyone deceive you into believing otherwise!

Have a “Clear Message” Monday, January 4—The first step toward getting somewhere is to decide to be a true Jesus apprentice and not a cheap imitation. DEA
