Automatic Pilot

Dear Friends,

But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you. John 14:26

When I was in college I had a friend who drove a standard shift, meaning you had to shift the gears for the car to work properly. I didn't learn to drive a standard shift, I learned on automatic, it's not the same process. When you drive a standard car, you are the one that to tell the engine what to do, you shift it into position. The automatic car shifts for you, but you still sit in the drivers seat and navigate.

This year one of my son's friends who drives a Tesla, took a trip to Fayetteville, she put her car on automatic pilot and went to sleep, that's a different level of trust. For me, it all equates to how we allow the Holy Spirit to work in our lives. Standard, we shift the gears and do the work; Automatic, it shifts it self, but we still drive; or like the Tesla, we allow the Holy Spirit to have full control and trust the programing. My prayer is we get like the owner of the Tesla, put our lives on automatic pilot and trust our Father for our final destination.

Turning on the Automatic Pilot,

LMJ
