This is Why...

Dear Friend,

Let me share with you a recent conversation I had with a very dear friend.

Friend: "How do you do it?"

Me: Do What?

Friend: Constant, unwavering inspiration with perpetual love

Me: Honestly, I remember how jacked up I was, I remember that if He came not to judge me (see John 3:17), then I don't get to judge anyone else. I remember I was like the woman at the well (see John 4:4-42), and I needed a WORD that would change my life... I remember I was like the woman with the issue of blood, I just needed to touch HIM (see Matthew 9:20-22). I remember that there is beauty in brokenness (see Romans 8:28-31) and that the POWER of love heals ANYTHING and Everyone...and then I remember the promise that I made Him, that If you my save my life, I will go, I will be, I will be the sacrifice (see Matthew 16:24-26), because Jesus was the ultimate sacrifice...i remember what it was like to need love (see 1 Corinthians 13:4-8) and not have it, and that I never want anyone else to feel that way....and on my hardest days, when I don’t feel like it, cause I don’t feel like it ....I remember the cat-o-nine (see Matthew 27:24-50), every cut He took for me (see Isaiah 53:5)...and I remember that He fills my cup (see Psalms 23:5)...so I can pour in to others...and when I don’t feel like it again, I remind myself what my life looked like, without Him (see Galatians 5:14-25), jacked up...and I reset myself to get up, stop being pitiful and remember you are an extension of God’s love and this ain’t your home no way (see Hebrews 13:14)...
