Here to serve...

Dear Friend, During this time of year, students and teachers alike are...Ready. For. The. Summer! We have been going strong since August and now anticipating the end. After I took my class to the gym, I sat in the empty, quiet classroom and thought to myself, “This would be best class ever!” No one is talking. I can hear myself think. There are no interruptions! The list could go on and on. But the biggest thing missing...would be my students. Which ultimately is the only reason I’m in the classroom! Philippians 2:13 “For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.” We all have purpose and have been called to a particular assignment! Our role is to serve people the same way Christ did! If all I did was teach to the air, just so I could have peace and quiet with no interruptions; then I never would touch the lives He’s called me to! No matter what the assignment, I can guarantee 100% it has something to do with serving others! We’ve all been called to Kingdom public service! Today, strive to serve like never before! It’s not going to be easy but your have the grace of God to get the job done! Remember we are not here to be serve, but to serve! (see Matthew 20:28) His Servant, Jess
