Hide and Seek

Dear Friend,

Hide and Seek was one of my favorite childhood games. I enjoyed playing the game both indoors and outdoors, as I would find the most unique places to hide. Being so small and petite afforded me the opportunity to hide in places the average person could not , this often would make it much more difficult for the Seeker to find me. I would hide under any cabinet in the house, I remember one day hiding in my grandmother’s china cabinet. No one thought to look for me there, as everyone knew that we weren’t allow to mess with the china cabinet. However, I knew it was the perfect spot for me not to be found. I stayed there and stayed there until, they gave up looking for me. I eventually came out, careful not to reveal the place I had hidden, as it was the perfect hiding spot.

I SEE YOU…….Jeremiah 23:23-24 says, 23 “Am I a God at hand, declares the Lord, and not a God far away?24 Can a man hide himself in secret places so that I cannot see him? declares the Lord. Do I not fill heaven and earth? declares the Lord

Although, they were never able to find me that day. According to the above scripture, the Lord saw exactly where I was hidden. Some of us have hidden ourselves in the secret place of our sins, in the secret place of pain and hurt, in the secret place of our grind, while some are hidden in the secret place of our thoughts. This scripture is reminder, that the God who intricately designed us in our mother’s womb can see us clearly. Although they gave up looking for me that day in the game, because they were unable to find me in my hiding place. Our Lord will never give up on us, as He knows exactly where we are at this very moment. He sees us, and He loves us! Our God has mastered the game of Hide and Seek.

I've been Found,

Chanda
