She broke protocol!
Dear Friend,
This morning I was meditating on the woman with the issue of blood. There are so many lessons in this parable. She was brave, she was determined and she was relentless. She had to be, she had no choice, she was about to die. She had spent all her money, she wasn't allowed to be with her people, she had nothing left. As a matter of fact they had told her, there was nothing left that they could do for her. She had to make a decision, I can lay down here and die or i can fight to live. She made a decision to fight to live.
I am sure she woke up that morning and heard that Jesus was in town, she had heard about the other miracles by now I am sure. I am sure when she laid there that morning, she thought "I could get arrested, I could get killed for what i'm about to do." I definitely know she was probably hesitant, but then she realized she had no choice, either I die here and not fulfill my purpose, or I do whatever it is that I have to do, to get my healing. In fact she did, she broke protocol, she pressed in, she knew that she had to take the chance. She pushed past all barriers and things that told her no, she created her own yes and what happened next was her MIRACLE. She was sick of suffering and so she knew if she didn't do anything about it outside her normal, she wouldn't get what she needed? So she pressed and I am sure she prayed and here's what happened next "He said to her, "Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering. (See Mark 5:34)" What do you stand in need of? Who or what has told you no, what barriers will you break to get what you need? Get out of your normal to receive what you need! Remembering without FAITH it's impossible to please God (see Hebrews 11:6).
