Two Minds!

Dear Friend,

We have all had those moments of indecisiveness . In those moments we are paralyzed by fear and questioning ourselves over and over, "Should I or shouldn't I?" There was a recent test in my life where I had to choose between what was right in my heart (the will of God) over what I felt was right in my mind (flesh). During this tug-of-war, I didn't want to go to God because I already knew what He would say! And I knew His response would be the complete opposite of the excuse I longed for Him to approve. When I finally decided to humble myself and pray He was a Father of very few words. We sat in our spot around 2 a.m. in complete silence. And then He spoke, "A double-minded man is unstable in all His ways." (James 1:8)

After revealing the root of my issue, He left me with my mouth open and I knew exactly what I needed to do! And I chose to go with the will of God! That one moment of humility melted every wall that I had built with pride and I was finally able to move forward! Don't allow your pride to get the best of you! Keep the eyes of your heart fixed on Him and He'll take care of the rest. Besides life's too short to live in fear and stressed when you're JessBlessed!

Love,

Jess
