Divine Providence! God’s particular timing and order for a particular thing. The moments that God provides for you, are countless, how many of them have you missed it because of rationalizing or reasoning. We are thinking men and women and God designed us that way, but do you know inevitably we can think our way out of the providential moments that God provides for us? I met a lady the other day and she was telling me about the blog she started and how she kept feeling like God told her to write, so she began to write and then she began to reason. She began to over think about all the reasons, she shouldn’t write, how limited her time was, what if people didn’t really want to hear what she has to say? She told me that she often ask herself, should start writing again, definitely so.
God provides seasons in our lives for everything. Ecclesiastes 3:1 “ To every thing every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.” God’s timing for things aren’t always our timing. Unfortunately, most of the time we rationalize what God is doing for us and through us. We start to over think and analyze everything, and we know that feel the lead of the Holy Spirit within. I have found myself, saying to myself “that doesn’t make any sense”. But are we using our common sense or our spiritual sense? The Holy Spirit our helper is our guide through and in our seasons. John 14:26 "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you." If we take the time to allow the Holy Spirit to lead us, we won’t miss this the particular season in our life we will know if it’s time to plant or time to harvest, we will know if it’s time to talk or time to be quiet (Ecclesiastes 3: 1-4). He will provide us with the divine instructions for our “what next”, we just have to slow down and position ourselves to hear from Him.
Remember that God’s ways are not our ways, so everything won’t always “make sense”. His thoughts our higher than ours (Isaiah 55: 8-10) and He knows exactly what He wants us doing in our season in our life. Don’t miss the divine opportunities, providence, because it will provide for you, it will promote you, it will favor you and it will elevate you. It will cause you to meet the right people in the right places. It is connected to God’s divine alignment for you. You won’t have to guess, because the Holy Spirit will confirm it for you (1 Corinthians 12:4-7).
Prayer: Holy Spirit, we need more of you. We need to be more sensitive to you to hear you above our own voices. Father we thank you for divinely aligning us so that You can get the ultimate glory out of our lives. Thank you for our safe place in you and providing us with a season for everything. Bless us to hear and know you, In Jesus Name. Amen
